My Magazine Cover

In room eight last week we were talking about magazines, because we are going to make a class magazine. First before we did anything else, we all had to make our own magazine cover! On our magazine cover we needed to add a picture of our self, a tittle, lots of color, different lettering, and advertising. We also had to pick what online tool we were going to use to make our cover on. This task is only a practice run. But in the next few weeks we will be focusing on creating our own class magazine.

DISCO

The disco was last night and it was SOOO FUN! We had to slow dance! And we played a game with a shoe! I got lots of chocolates and a fizzie drink! It was so fun, we danced to gangnam style- (A Song) Then everyone's parents turned up so we had to stop dancing and go home. :( I wanted to stay and do some more dancing and games. I took my iPod, to take pictures on. And the most sadist thing is that it was the last disco of the year! I want to go to one every night! They are so fun :)

Netball

Two weeks ago it was netball prize giving! I walked into the club rooms thinking, 'I really think I'm in for a prize. But then maybe I'm not! Do I really want to be here?' Yup, I was really nerves about the whole event! Anyway when the clock struck seven P.M. The head of the assembly called all of the netball girls to come and sit down, and I was on of them 'Netball girls' Soon it was my teams turn to stand up the front, and be presented our prizes-*If we got one* I stood up there with everyone standing and staring at my-Including the principle! And then my name came out of the coaches mouth... I turned to see her holding a cup and a metal out towards me-YUS! I had won something! When I turned to see my proud parents, Mum was sitting there telling me to smile... EMBARRASSING! When the whole of the prize giving was over Mum was like- 'Well done come here and give me a cuddle!' I was like 'Mum! Not with everyone here!' Then before I knew it I was sucked up into her arms! Oh well it turned out that there was nothing I should have worried about! ;)

Jaffi! My Lamb

Yesterday afternoon my lamb  called for the first time ever! I was so happy! AND I STILL AM! I didn't think she would come to her name but she must have known she was going to get feed after her hard work at calling! She lead really good too! It was like something in her had changed over night. The worst part of the afternoon was when Mum brought out the warm soapy water and old rags, then told us to wash them! My lamb was ok with the whole 'Bath' thing, but I defiantly wasn't! It had been raining so she was muddy under her belly-And I was just about to change that! Jaffi liked the warm cloth, and just stood there making my job one tiny bit easier-Unlike my brother's lamb! Well the main thing is that she is now a 'White' lamb! -As Mum says! Wish me good luck at calf club!

The Magic Faraway Tree

This story is my reading millage book. It is about three little kids that live not far away in a little village from the enchanted forest.  In the enchanted forest there is a big tree called the Faraway Tree! The three little kids climbed up the tree and they meet lots of new people-or more like random made up things! It is a catchy book and seems really cool :)
