My Millage Book: Marshmallow Skye
Marshmallow Skye is about a girl who has a twin sister called Summer. Summer is like the boss twin and Skye is the quiet pleasant kind. Skye has a friend called Al-fie, he is the kind of boy that has no manners so he asks Skye 'what do girls like about boys?' The reason why he has to ask this girl, is because he has a crush on Summer and nobody knows Summer more that her twin sister Skye! Outside Skye and Summers house it looks horned, vines covering the bricks, untidy gardens. Skye has a friend living on the back lawn, and her friends father decides to clean the top room. In the top room they find old cloths and other old equipment. The equipment belongs to Carla Travelers. Carla Travelers was the lady who lived in their house before them. She died many many years ago. Skye has dreams about Carla and she starts felling a little unsettled...
War Horse
I have now started my new lit circle book! It's name is war horse and the cover looks quite interesting! In chapter one there is a boy called Albert, and his father goes to the markets and buys a horse. The horse becomes Albert's and they spend heaps of time together! There is also another horse in the story, it is a girl and she is old and has to toe the carriage along. She sleeps in the same barn as Joey-(The new Horse) Albert and Joey are always spending time together and there was one promise that Albert made to Joey, To keep him safe and away from his father...

This story is my reading millage book. It is about three little kids that live not far away in a little village from the enchanted forest. In the enchanted Forster there is a big tree called the Faraway Tree! The three little kids climbed up the tree and they meet lots of new people-or more like random made up things! It is a catchy book and seems really cool :)

Summary:
Holes is about a boy called Stanley Yelnats who had to go and live at Camp Green Lake. Everyone thought that he had stolen a pair of very special shoes, when really they had fallen on his head! He went to court and the judge gave him a choices: ‘You may go to jail or Camp Green Lake.’ Stanley chose the option of going to Camp Green Lake, to dig holes for the Warden. The Warden is a Lady, and she thinks she runs Camp Green Lake. Stanley made a lot of friends at Camp Green Lake, but he had a best friend called Zero. After a while at Camp Green Lake, Zero ran away! Before that happened Stanley helped teach Zero how to read and write. So now you know that Holes is about a good boy called Stanley, who was sent to Camp Green Lake for being a bad boy!

Dog Tucker is about a boy called Devlin, Who lives in foster homes. Devlin used to live with his Auntie Rose until one night he ran away. Aroha-The lady who manages his homes, Said he needed to go live with Uncle George. Uncle George lived on a farm-Horses, cows etc. At first Devlin didn’t like the early morning jobs, and having to do dishes, He tried to run away several times, but Uncle George caught him and kept on saying ‘There’s none of that happening!’ After a while Devlin went to the horse races and ended up scoring himself his own horse. Zak was his horse, that he trained. He got to take it on many rides until it became dog tucker... Zak was a racehorse also before that. Saria is George’s new married wife.
Dog Tucker:
George and Saria just got married! And while they went on their honeymoon, Devlin went to stay with his brothers and sisters. His Mother died from being beaten up by her boyfriend and the kids now live in foster homes too-Girls live in a foster home and the boys live in a foster home. Devlin really wanted to race Zak and George said yes, Saria could race him for them. But Saria was racing a horse before Zak and fell off! Devlin got another racer to race for him but he over heard his conversation and he locked him in a toilet. Who was gonna race his horse?-Devlin jumped on the horse without anyone knowing and he is now racing him!
For Reading this term, I'm reading Dog tucker! It's a book about a boy who is thirteen and live's in foster homes. He lives with this uncle George on a farm, He got kicked in the chest by a horse! Devlin has ran away once, And he has tried two other times... But now he's asleep in some grass-He ran away! Devlin picks up a stone each time he leaves a foster home, He is trying to run beck to his mothers to be there in time for is little brothers birthday. Devlin hate doing lots of jobs around the house for uncle George so he ran away...
DOG TUCKER
Devlin's family came to the farm to visit him, His mother and him had a chat about his dream-Getting a farm up and going just for his family. They also talked about his school work and about living on the farm. Devlin got to have a cuddle of his little baby sister, And after the family left he went to see Zak. He had a cuddle then George came up behind him a George was crying. Devlin hugged George and they both cried.
